Patrick Tobin had his first taste of wire walking at age thirteen with Circus Smirkus, North America’s pioneering youth circus. It was there where his passion for tightwire, aerial rope, acrobatics and performing were born. After high school Patrick spent two years at university studying English and journalism in Boston, MA. What was missing from his studies was a creative outlet and the opportunity to perform.  Patrick went on to further his training at L’École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal (The National Circus School of Montreal) where he specialized in tightwire and aerial rope. Patrick is a founding member of the circus collective, "Frequently Asked Questions" and is always thrilled to share his passion for the circus. Outside of the circus, Patrick enjoys spending time with family and friends, alpine skiing, horseback riding, the beach, roller coasters and traveling!
